Introduction
CICES is a privileged partner for compagnies in their international commercial growth.
As a result of the merging between CSCE (centre senegalais du commerce exterieur) and SOFIDAK (societ¨¦ de la foire internationale de Dakar)on 4 july 1986, CICES is a government limited company (controlled 58 per cent), with a capital of 140 millions Cfa Fr.
Its mission is to promote senegalese trade by any means and in all sectors: Particulary by developing trade relationships between national businessmen and their foreign counterparts;
These purposes could be reached by organizing trade fairs, shows and seminars.
Its assignments are to:
- Operate the exhibition ground by organizing general trade fairs (Dakar International Trade Fair, ECOWAS¡¯Trade Fair, Afro-Arab Trade Fair, ...Etc. ), specialized fairs (Book and Didactic Equipment Fair, Fashion and Textile Fair, Computer Fair, Bargain sales...);
- Manage the Congress Center by organizing national and international meetings (European Union/West Africa Industrial Form, Medical Congress, seminars, meetings).
